Palestine. The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza, early 20th century. Consecrated in 1150, it is the oldest church still in use in the city, and the third oldest church still in use in the world.
On 19 October 2023, a building from the church compound was damaged during an Israeli airstrike, killing 18 Palestinian civilians.
