Reconstruction of the Anghel-Saligny railway bridge over the Danube, between Fetesti and Cernavoda in Romania on the Eastern Front, circa 1918-1919.

Partially destroyed by the Germans in 1916, this engineering structure was first named the “King Carol I Bridge” and later, after its innovative designer, the engineer Anghel-Saligny.
