The Creation of the World

In our Religions series :
In this engraving published in the late 19th century by the ‘Maison de la Bonne Presse’, nowadays known as Bayard Presse, God the Father appears 7 times. At the top, in the triangle, he is shown at rest, at the end of a week of 6 very active days.
1st day: creation of light; 2nd day: creation of the firmament, separation of earth and water; 3rd day: creation of the plant world; 4th day: creation of the sun, moon and stars; 5th day: creation of birds and fish; 6th day: creation of land animals and of Man, made in His image.
