The Grizzly Bear Dance, or « Pas de l’Ours », featuring Mistinguett and Georges Carpentier at Maxim’s in 1913.

Georges Carpentier, a legendary boxer, became world champion in 1920 after winning the French and European titles. The duo is reunited in a scene from “Le roman de Carpentier” in 1913, a film that has now disappeared. This peculiar dance made its appearance  in the United States in 1910.
