The launch of the Vergniaud, a French Navy battleship of the Danton class, around 1910. Construction began in 1908 and the ship entered active service in September 1911; it was decommissioned in 1921 and scrapped in 1928. The ship was involved in the Black Sea mutinies of 1919.
